The Pet Process

Inquiry & Quote – During this important first step, you’ll be filling out a quick                           for me so I can get your basic information. This contact form really helps me get a sense of you, your pet(s) and what you are aiming to have created for you. Once I receive your form, I will respond, confirm details with you and put together a base "rough" pencil sketch. SO easy!

Illustration Process – I then take your clear pet photo(s) that you sent (via email) and do a rough pencil sketch of the pet. I will use this to confirm the initial illustration of pet, the size and orientation layout with you. Once you confirm that both are exactly what you want, I then begin to illustrate your pet by hand with colored pencils, making sure I incorporate every little cute detail that makes your pet unique! I then send a finished photo... yay! We did it!

Finishing Touches – Lastly, to preserve your new portrait, I seal your illustration with a finishing spray for protection. Your new portrait will be wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve with cardboard reinforcements to protect it during shipping & delivery. Once sealed it will be on it's way to you! 

 

Below you can find my standard pricing for a single pet portrait based on paper size. Take note that the paper size isn't the portrait size. For example, a 5x7 paper size is roughly a 3-4 inch portrait.
